Have you ever been on a retreat? Yoga, wellness, self-confidence, spa or meditation retreat….basically, a day, a weekend or a week where you go somewhere and relax, work on self-improvement, clear your mind and re-center your life.
But why should anybody go to a retreat? Well, there are many reasons - they allow you to pull back, get inspired, become spacious, detox, and find mind-liked people. Retreat comes from the Latin verb “to pull back.” So, retreat, or a retreat, is a place where you pull back from the world. It is about getting away from the stresses, responsibilities and noises of daily life and letting the mind quiet down from its daily routine. When we are away from our daily environment, we do not get as distracted and we create a space to truly self-reflect.
I recently attended a retreat and I was blown away with the amount of joy, love, peace and encouragement I left with. I didn't know what to expect as I joined the retreat. I only set an intention to "connect" before I walked in. After the first minutes, I felt "connected" and so much nurturing love and care. It was beautiful. It changed my whole being. It gave me tools to take care of myself and to reflect on my journey, and new authentic friendships. I am so grateful for the experience.
I was so touched by the love and encouragement I felt that I wanted to create an opportunity for others experience something as empowering too. Therefore, I am happy to announce I will host New Year Reset - Women's Wellness Retreat that will be held in Austin, TX over the weekend Jan 17-20th.
